Taipei City Tour:
This tour starts with a drive pass of the Presidential Office en-route to Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. This majestic hall towers over 25 hectares of landscaped gardens, graceful pavilions and ponds. The tour continues on to visit The Martyrs Shrine, an excellent example of classical Ming dynasty architecture. The next stop is the National Palace Museum, where the world’s largest collections of Chinese art treasures are held. This tour will also visit Chinese Temples and The Handicraft Center; a one-stop shopping place in Taipei for gifts, jeweler, arts & craft, furniture and many other inexpensive mementos.
Chiufen Village Tour:
The tour will take you to visit the historical gold mining town, Chiufen Village. The villages of Chiufen were once centre of gold mining in Taiwan. The gold is gone, but these quaint old villages, built of closely packed houses clinging to steep mountainsides continue to offer enchanting scenery and fascinating glimpse into the lifestyles of the past. You will continue the tour to visit Pitou Cape, Nanya Rock Formations, and Bay of Two Colours. This area is known as The Northeast Coast National Scenic Area and is noted for its numerous capes and galleys.
Wulai Aboriginal Village Tour:
This is an excellent orientation tour of the aborigines of Taiwan. Firstly, we visit the Wulai Aboriginal Village - the most accessible area from Taipei to view the aboriginal tribesmen who once were the head hunters of Taiwan. We drive along scenic mountain roads and follow a winding river, we will arrive at this authentic aboriginal village. We will ride in a unique push-car to the top of a deep ravine where aborigine girls will tell you of their lives in graceful songs and dances. In addition, a variety of aboriginal-made crafts are sold here. |
